Please read Understanding Isaiah #1 first so you can have some "Keys" to begin to understand this. Now we shall look at Isaiah 18
It begins like this:

"WOE to the land (USA) shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia: (Remember about the "wings." )

(When we look at a World Map we see that North is up. South is down. East is to the right and West is left. But the prophets have always "faced East" to pray. Looking East, what is 'Before' you is East. What is behind you is West, the Hebrew word 'beyond' is 'over' 'past' the rivers of Ethiopia is to the West. That land is the Americas. And We have more airline flights than all the rest of the world.

On April 8, 1844 the Mormon's Prophet Joseph Smith said that the Americas were Zion. He said: "The whole of America is Zion itself from north to south, and is described by the Prophets, who declare that it is the Zion where the mountain of the Lord should be, and that it should be in the center of the land. When Elders shall take up and examine the old prophecies in the Bible, they will see it." History of the Church -DHC 6: 318-319 His brother Hyrum Smith said on the same day that:

"We must do all we can to build up the Temple, and after that to build churches. The gathering will continue here until the Temple is so far finished that the Elders can get their endowments; and after that the gathering will be from the nations to North and South America, which is the land of Zion. North and South America, are the symbols of the wings. The gathering from the old countries will always be to headquarters." Hyrum Smith April 8, 1844 (157 years ago!) DHC 6:322

(Hyrum Smith was the Patriarch at that time. There is no Patriarch to the Church now. That has been 'lost' -like the gathering has. They tell people today to stay in their homeland and build up churches.)

2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, (bulrushes are water drinking vessels = steamships, even Nuclear powered Subs run on steam. The nuclear heat makes the steam to turn the propellers.) saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, (Scattered from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific. Our Military is clean shaven, peeled, as most men are) to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto;
a nation meted out (into townships, range, sections, blocks, and addresses) and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled! (USA- Floods every year!)

3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign (banner-Flag) on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye. 4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. (God's dwelling is like a cloud of shelter in summer heat, Rest in your fallout shelter, when the heat burns people.)

5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches. (afore the 2^nd. coming of Christ to the world,
he will cut down the people, sinners)

6 They shall be left together unto the fowls (dead bodies everywhere) of the mountains, (kingdoms-nations-states) and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer (eat) upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter (eat) upon them.

7 In that time shall the present (offering-gift) be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion."
Isaiah 18: 1-7

Now Isaiah 19: and what it means. See a $1 bill, with the Pyramid on it.

"THE burden of Egypt. (USA) Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, (11 million degrees nuclear fire) and shall come into Egypt: (USA) and the idols (sports hero's, movie stars, music artist's) of Egypt (USA) shall be moved at his presence, (run for their lives) and the heart of Egypt (USA) shall melt (hundreds of hot warheads) in the midst of it.

2 And I will set the Egyptians (state) against the Egyptians (state) and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

3 And the spirit of Egypt (USA) shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof (leaders dead) and they shall seek to the idols, (sports, movie, music, TV) and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. (Horoscopes, Astrologers, Fortune tellers, Telephone Psychics, all those full of crap! = See your dictionary about crap.)

4 And the Egyptians (USA) will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

5 And the waters (people) shall fail from the sea, (population mass) and the river (Army) shall be wasted and dried up. (The military shall fail to protect us, the river = lots of people = water = army, shall be wasted.)

((Revelation 17: 15 "And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.")

6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: (defense -emptied-gone-dried up) the reeds and flags shall wither. (reeds =Plants = people, wither-die.)

7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, (small) and every thing sown by the brooks, (of defense) shall wither, be driven away, and be no more. (Our Local 'brooks' =Police-Militia shall wither, dry up.)

8 The fishers (business) also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets (sales to catch people) upon the waters (people) shall languish (become weak.)

9 Moreover they that work in fine flax, (fashions) and they that weave networks, (styles) shall be confounded.

10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices (wages) and ponds (warehouse goods) for fish (for sales.)

11 Surely the princes of Zoan (business) are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh (leaders) is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

13 The princes of Zoan (business men) are become fools, the princes of Noph (ministers) are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, (USA) even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.

14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they (ministers) have caused Egypt (USA) to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. (Preachers have miss-led the people, with dumb ideas like the Rapture. CLICK HERE to see that.)

15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, (just hide) which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do. (Leaders at the head, or the tail workers, everyone just needs to hide.)

16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand ( servant-Russia) of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

17 And the land of Judah (Jews) shall be a terror unto Egypt, (USA -forget the modern state of Israel in the mid-east) every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. (against it.)

(Just decide yourself "IF" you want to be cut into little pieces!

"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." Zechariah 12: 3 (Why would we or anyone want to be cut in pieces?)

18 In that day shall five (5) cities in the land of Egypt (USA) speak the language of Canaan, (Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Washington DC) and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, (see your $1 bill) and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. (I will explain that in the future, it takes a lot more space.)

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: (USA) for they shall cry (wail) unto the LORD because of the oppressors, (Russia) and he shall send them a saviour, (Christ) and a great one, and he shall deliver them. (This is to be a Christian Nation, we need to see all of these foreign religious crap ideas get thrown out; and turn back to the true God of Israel.)

((You have read enough now to understand about Egypt (USA) so lets see Chapter 60: 12-"For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. (Nations wasted.)

14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel." Isaiah 60: 12, & 14 We will win.))

21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, (USA) and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation;
yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.

(We will become a sanctified Nation, after the dross is 'burned' out.)

22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt (USA) he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

(We don't have to hate the Russian people.
We hate the leaders of Communism. There are some good white people in Russia; they have been miss-led just as we have.
Damned Preachers! Of false doctrine. )

24 In that day (after the war) shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, (maybe only 1/3 of the USA will be left alive) even a blessing in the midst of the land: (I think it will be less than that.)

25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt (USA) my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, (servants) and Israel mine inheritance." Isaiah 19: 1-25

In that same Volume 6 of the "Documentary History of the Church" Joseph Smith said: "Any person who is exalted to the highest mansion has to abide a celestial law, and the whole law too.
But there has been a great difficulty in getting anything into the heads of this generation.
It has been like splitting hemlock knots with a corn-dodger for a wedge, and a pumpkin for a beetle.
Even the Saints are slow to understand.
I have tried for a number of years to get the minds of the Saints prepared to receive the things of God; but we frequently see some of them, after suffering all they have for the work of God, will fly to pieces like glass as soon as anything comes that is contrary to their traditions: they cannot stand the fire at all.
How many will be able to abide a celestial law, and go through and receive their exaltation, I am unable to say, as many are called, but few are chosen." DHC 6:184-185 "1844"

   We continue with Isaiah Chapter 28:

"WOE to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, (most Mormons) whose glorious beauty (wealth) is a fading flower, which are on the head (Salt Lake City) of the fat valleys of (Utah) them that are overcome with wine! (Joseph Smith said that 'wine' means revelation.) He said:

"Many objections are urged against the Latter-day Saints for not admitting the validity of sectarian baptism, and for withholding fellowship from sectarian churches. Yet to do otherwise would be like putting new wine into old bottles, and putting old wine into new bottles. What! new revelations in the old churches? New revelations (wine) would knock out the bottom of their bottomless pit. New wine into old bottles! The bottles burst and the wine runs out! What! Sadducees in the new church! Old wine in new leathern bottles will leak through the pores and escape. So the Sadducee saints mock at authority, kick out of the traces, and run to the mountains of perdition, leaving the long echo of their braying behind them." Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith page 192

(The only revelation (wine) the Mormons have had in the past 100 years to the whole church has made them drunk since 1978.

Isaiah 28:Verse 2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail (fallout) and a destroying storm, (nuclear Blast) as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
3 The crown of pride, (Salt Lake) the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet (millions of Mormons will die, like everyone else.)

4 And the glorious beauty, (Salt Lake City) which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, (residue = what's left.)

6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. (Ports or gates to the Sea.  A fence has Gates, Oceams have Ports.)
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, (revelation) they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.  
   (Vomit is un-digested food, and un-lived commandments.)

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, (of mother church) and drawn from the breasts.
(And can eat more solid doctrines.   I was excommunicated from the church in 1976.)

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. (See all my web pages, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.)
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue (Russian and Chinese) will he speak to this people.

12 To (Ephraim) whom he said, This is the rest (Gospel) wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. (And believe that all is to be restored.)
13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
  (Submit to the US Government rules in 1890 about plural marriage, polygamy.)

14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in JerUSAlem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, (fallout) it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: (we hold the keys.)
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, (seer) a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
  (See Daniel 2:34 about the stone)

17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail (fallout) shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters (people) shall overflow (millions come) the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge (fallout) shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

19 From the time that (attack) it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it (death) pass over, by day and by night: (fallout) and it shall be a vexation (shame) only to understand the report. (On the News of millions dead, and bombs just keep falling across the USA.)
20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: (no place to hide) and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. (Can't find enough shelter, covering to small.)

21 For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth (mad as hell) as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; (using Russia) and bring to pass his act, his strange act. (Really un-expected by millions who love all the false prophets, who claim to be prophets, but never can foretell anything, along with all the preachers of false doctrine.)

22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. (The whole earth = World War III)
23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, (hear-KEN) and hear my speech.
  (I am telling you what is going to happen soon.)

24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
27 For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

(God will do the threshing of the harvest, and use the missiles, bombs, and the army to fulfill the rod of his mouth.)

28 Bread corn (corn is Israel) is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen. (The war will end in a few years.)
29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working."   Isaiah 28: 1-29
