What do the scriptures tell us about the kind of men that prophets were?

The "prophet" most quoted in the "New Testament was the prophet "Isaiah". Jesus told his disciples that, "And OTHER SHEEP I have, which are not of this fold: THEM ALSO I MUST BRING, and THEY SHALL HEAR MY VOICE." (John 10:16)

WHEN he appeared to the people on this the "American Continent" (his other sheep), he told them: "And now, behold, I SAY UNTO YOU, that ye ought to search these things. Yea, A COMMANDMENT I GIVE unto you THAT YE SEARCH these things diligently; FOR GREAT ARE THE WORDS OF ISAIAH. For surely he spake as touching ALL THINGS concerning my People."    (3 Nephi 23:1-2)

Mormon the Prophet said: "SEARCH THE PROPHECIES OF ISAIAH."  (Mormon 8:23)

The Bible says: "At the same time SPAKE THE LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, GO AND LOOSE THE SACKCLOTH FROM OFF THY LOINS, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, WALKING NAKED AND BAREFOOT. And The LORD SAID, Like AS MY SERVANT ISAIAH HATH WALKED NAKED AND BAREFOOT THREE (3) YEARS FOR A SIGN and wonder."   (Isaiah 20:2-3)

  Today "STREAKERS" get in trouble, when they run NAKED "If" they are caught!
    I am really glad that God has not asked me to do that yet!
           Imagine a crippled old man trying to run.
                   Naked too! Oh what a horrible sight, like the end of the world.  

The Bible says: "So THE WATERS WERE HEALED unto this day, ACCORDING TO the saying of ELISHA which he spake. And he went up from thence on-to Bethel: AND AS HE WAS GOING up by the way, there came forth little children out of the City, and MOCKED HIM, and said unto him, GO UP, THOU BALDHEAD; GO UP, THOU BALD HEAD."

"AND HE (Elisha) TURNED back, and looked on them, AND CURSED THEM in the name of the Lord. AND there came forth TWO SHE BEARS out of the wood, and TARE FORTY AND TWO CHILDREN OF THEM." (2 Kings 2:22-24)

Can you imagine a "baldheaded Prophet," Turning Bears on kids today!

The Bible says: "AND THE LORD SAID TO HOSEA, GO take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms.. THEN SAID THE LORD UNTO ME (Hosea) GO yet, LOVE A WOMAN beloved of her friend, (friend!) YET AN ADULTRESS..."    (Hosea 1:2:3:1)

Review for a moment. - Today, would you believe a naked, baldheaded man, with a whore on his arm?

The Bible says: "AND SAUL SAID, Thus shall ye say to David, The king (Saul) desireth not any dowery, (for his daughter) BUT AN HUNDRED FORESKINS of the Philistines, to he avenged of the king's enemies. Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, AND SLEW of the Philistines TWO HUNDRED (200) MEN: AND DAVID BROUGHT THEIR FORESKINS..."    (1 Samuel 18:25, 27)

What is a foreskin you ask? The Bible says: "AND ye shall CIRCUMCISE THE FLESH of Your FORESKIN..." (Genesis 17:11)

"AND DAVID SENT messengers to Ishbosheth, Saul's son, SAYING DELIVER ME MY WIFE MICHAL, (Saul's daughter) which I espoused to me FOR AN HUNDRED FORESKINS (100) of the Philistines."   (2 Samuel 3:14)
Review for a moment - Try to imagine a naked, baldheaded, ornery man, married to a past prostitute, buying another wife, with the foreskins off of 100 dead men's penises.

In the New Testament, Acts 13:21-22; God calls David, "A MAN AFTER MINE OWN HEART."
The point is: you don't know what kind of men GOD CALLS to be his prophets. You only know what your TRADITIONS have taught you.

The Bible says: "But Rabshkeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, THAT they may eat their own dung, AND drink their own piss with you?"   (2 Kings 18:27)

"Therefore, behold, I (God) WILL BRING EVIL upon the house of Jeroboam, AND WILL CUT OFF from Jeroboam HIM THAT PISSETH AGAINST THE WALL."  (1 Kings 14:10)

OH! MY! You don't know the scriptures, - do you? Now I could go on and on and really get "gross," but I don't want to.

"BUT JESUS SAID unto them, a prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, AND AMONG HIS OWN KIN, and in his own house."   (Mark 6:4)

AND again JESUS SAID: "If the world hate you, ye know that IT HATH HATED ME BEFORE IT HATED YOU If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: BUT because ye are not of the world, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN YOU out of the world, THEREFORE THE WORLD HATETH YOU. REMEMBER the servant is not greater that his Lord. IF THEY HAVE PERSECUTED ME, THEY WILL ALSO PERSECUTE YOU; if they have kept my sayings, they will keep yours also."   (John 15:18-20)

Peter said: "Repent ye therefore, and be counted, that your sins may be blotted out, WHEN the times of refreshing, SHALL COME ... UNTIL (future) the times (today) OF RESTITUTION (to restore) OF ALL ("ALL"-see Ephesians 1:10) THINGS, which God bath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began."    (Acts 3:19,21)

         Why would everything he restored, and "persecution" NOT be?
     Well - - -! It was.   It was for sure, That I can tell you.

This writer has lost; his reputation, his good name, houses, farms, business, parents, brother,
a wife and children, etc. Who? You ask I didn't want to, but I'll show you why.

We read in "Mormon Doctrine" by Bruce B. McConkie, page 439: "From 1835 to 1921 ALL editions of the Doctrine and Covenants contained some lesson material called THE LECTURES ON FAITH, These lectures, seven in number, were prepared BY THE PROPHET (Joseph) for study in the school of the elders in Kirtland in 1834-35, and ALSO FOR PUBLICATION IN THE DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS. They were not themselves classed as revelations, BUT IN THEM IS TO BE FOUND SOME OF THE BEST LESSON MATERIAL EVER PREPARED ON THE GODHEAD; on the character, perfection's, and attributes of God; on faith, miracles, AND SACRIFICE, They can be studied with great profit by ALL gospel scholars" (Doctrines of Salvation 2:303-304: Vol. 3:194)

 THEN WHY WAS THE BEST TAKEN OUT of the Doctrine and Covenants in 1921?

 THE SIXTH (6th) "LECTURE ON FAITH" tells us:

"For a man (woman) to lay down his (or her) all, HIS CHARACTER and REPUTATION, HIS HONOR, and applause, HIS GOOD NAME AMONG MEN, his HOUSES, his LANDS, his BROTHERS and SISTERS, HIS WIFE and CHILDREN, and even his own life also - counting ALL things hut filth and dross FOR THE EXCELLENCY OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST - (to hear those precious words from God) REQUIRES MORE than mere belief OR supposition that he (she) is doing the will of God; BUT ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE

"Let us here observe, that a religion that does not require the sacrifice OF ALL THINGS never has power sufficient to produce the faith necessary unto life and salvation, . . . IT IS IN VAIN for persons to fancy TO THEMSELVES THAT they are heirs with those, OR CAN BE heirs with them, WHO HAVE OFFERED THEIR ALL IN SACRIFICE. Those who have NOT made this sacrifice to God do not know (from the mouth of Christ) that the course which they pursue is well pleasing in his sight; FOR WHATEVER MAY BE THEIR BELIEF OR THEIR OPINION, it is a matter of doubt and uncertainty
        (until Jesus Christ himself gives HIS PROMISE TO YOU)
so that persons whose minds are under doubts and fears cannot have unshaken confidence; (to part the veil) and where unshaken confidence is not there faith is weak; AND where faith is weak the persons will not be able to contend against ALL THE OPPOSITION, TRIBULATIONS, AND AFFLICTIONS WHICH THEY WILL HAVE TO ENCOUNTER IN ORDER TO BE HEIRS OF GOD: and joint heirs with Christ Jesus; and they will grow weary in their minds, AND the adversary will have power over them and destroy them."

As I was saying: when you have a bad airplane crash, are taken through the veil AND SENT BACK, spend 6 months in a plaster cast, from the waist down, both legs. AND have your BANKER (a "Mormon" bishop) shut off your finances and crop production loans and repossess your land and farms (over 1000 acres under sprinklers) because you are in trouble and a polygamist. And have your own brother, and mother return your letters marked "UNDELIVERABLE - OCCUPANT DECEASED" (because they want you to be DEAD, to them!) AND go out one morning to find that someone has "pooped" a pile of "dung" on the hood of your car. AND hear your children called names, AND have a wife and children talked into leaving you, AND lose all your life's work. "PERSECUTION" IS RESTORED ALSO - BELIEVE ME.

"Verily ("in truth") THUS SAITH THE LORD: it SHALL come to pass that EVERY soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, AND obeyeth my voice,
AND keepeth my commandments, SHALL SEE MY FACE and know that l am."                (Doctrine and Covenants 93: 1)

"Therefore, SANCTIFY YOURSELVES (See Helaman 3:35, also 33, 34) that your minds BECOME SINGLE TO GOD. and the days WILL come THAT YOU SHALL SEE HIM:
for HE WILL unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, AND in his own way,
AND according to his own will ''    (Doctrine & Covenants 88: 68) 

Joseph Smith who 185 years ago established the Church of Christ that became the L.D.S. "Mormon" Church. He gave us the Book of Mormon and over 100 Revelations in the D&C today. AND the Pearl of Great Price. Joseph had 40 wives, the youngest was 14 and more than a dozen were also married to other men at the same time. Brigham Young had 55 wives. After he died President John Taylor took his place. He had over a dozen wives, the youngest was 52 years younger than him. Those were great men who served God faithfully during their lives.
CHECK GOOGLE how many wives Joseph had, and the others too; you that are self righteous hypocrites.

THEN - - you find its all been worth it. There has been NO SACRIFICE AT ALL!
YOU RECEIVE THE PROMISES OF GOD You count all things but filth and dross,
     "FOR THE EXCELLENCY OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST."

"And he saith unto me, (Leland) WRITE, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb AND he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God…have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: FOR THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY." (Revelation 19: 9-10) (So I WRITE this website for you to read for FREE.)
